A Note from Jan

The EMBRACE Model was born from my own journey through grief after losing my mother to dementia in 2018. As a grief specialist, I thought I'd have all the answers. I didn't. What I needed was something simpler — a way to slow down, be honest with myself, and take one step at a time.

That became the 6 P's. And this retreat is where they come alive.

From Pause to Progress isn't about fixing everything in one day. It's about giving yourself permission to stop long enough to listen — and then choosing your next best step. Not the perfect step. Just the next one.
