Therapists, coaches, shelters, universities, HR teams, and recovery programs use the EMBRACE Model to give their clients and communities a structured, evidence-informed path forward. Facilitator training opens the door to group and bulk workbook copies.
The EMBRACE Model gives your clients, students, or team members a consistent, repeatable language for processing life's hardest moments — grief, anxiety, burnout, transitions, and everything in between. It's simple enough to hand someone on their first day, and clinically grounded enough to support real transformation.
Grounded in CBT, ACT, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and positive psychology — not trends or guesswork.
The 6 P's give participants a consistent rhythm they can return to again and again, in any setting.
Works one-on-one, in small groups, or at scale across an entire organization or student body.
An evidence-informed tool your clients can use between sessions. Reinforce therapeutic progress without overwhelming them.

Learn About Facilitator Training →The EMBRACE Model is designed to be facilitated with care. Before we open group or bulk copies to any organization, we ask facilitators to complete training — this protects your participants and sets your group up to succeed.
Leading someone through grief, trauma, or a major life transition takes more than a workbook in hand. Our Facilitator's Guide covers session pacing, psychological safety, when to pause or refer out, and how to hold space for each of the seven EMBRACE modules — module by module.
Jan has already introduced the EMBRACE Model through an accredited Grief Life Coach Certification course on Transformation Academy's platform, extending this work to coaches and facilitators worldwide.
The dedicated Facilitator's Guide is currently in final development. Join the Journey to Become a Facilitator below and you'll be the first to know when training opens — plus early access to group and bulk copy pricing once you're trained.

Before creating the EMBRACE Model, Jan Davidson spent years working at the Indiana Department of Correction and retired as the Facility Director of Addiction Recovery Services at Indiana Women's Prison. Her background spans addictions counseling, grief work, and behavioral health programming in high-acuity settings.
After losing her mother to dementia, Jan needed a structured processing tool for her own grief — despite being a grief specialist professionally. The EMBRACE Model emerged from that need, informed by CBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and positive psychology.
It has since been used in individual therapy, group settings, corporate workshops, university programs, and an accredited certification course.
