CompassionClarityPractical tools

Not just inspired.

Equipped.

A shared language.

A usable next step.

One flagship experience · three ways to engage

Meet your audience where they are.

Every engagement is shaped around the people in the room, what they are navigating, and what you want them to carry forward.

02

Reflect + apply

Interactive workshop

A participatory experience moving people from hearing the ideas to applying them through reflection, conversation, and realistic scenarios.

Best for: teams, departments, leadership groups, retreats, and professional development.

03

Practice + sustain

Customized organizational training

A deeper learning experience with setting-specific scenarios, extended practice, participant materials, and optional reinforcement.

Best for: leadership development, team communication, organizational change, and specialized settings.

Information does not equal transformation

Knowing what to do is not always the same as being able to do it in the moment.

Pressure rises. Priorities compete. A conversation becomes tense. Important information is missed. Change arrives before people feel ready.

From Pause to Progress™ helps people slow the moment down long enough to choose a more aware and intentional response.

Which P am I in, and what is my next honest step?

The question audiences learn to carry forward

The EMBRACE 6 P's of Personal Growth™

One framework.
Six memorable questions.

A repeatable reset people can use in the next conversation, decision, challenge, opportunity, or ordinary human moment.

  1. 01

    Pause

What am I noticing right now?

  2. 02

    Pinpoint

What is really happening underneath this?

  3. 03

    Process

What am I feeling, assuming, or avoiding?

  4. 04

    Plan

What is my next honest step?

  5. 05

    Practice

What will I try differently next time?

  6. 06

    Progress

    What progress can I name?

Pause gives your wisdom time to catch up with your reaction.

More than inspiration for the moment

Language and tools people can return to.

  • Recognize the space between reaction and intentional response.
  • Look beneath a visible issue instead of responding only to its surface.
  • Choose a clear next step that fits the moment and their responsibilities.
  • Practice with realistic situations—not just hear about the ideas.
  • Leave with one commitment they can begin using immediately.

The work looks different · the people still matter

Your people are not a generic audience

The planning begins before Jan enters the room.

Jan works with the organizer to understand:

  • Who will be in the audience
  • What they are navigating
  • The outcome you want them to carry forward
  • The language and examples that fit their setting
  • The right format, interaction, and participant materials

Whole-person learning with clear boundaries

Human-centered does not mean clinically intrusive.

The experience is educational and developmental—not group therapy. Participants may always pass and share only what feels appropriate. It complements, rather than replaces, organizational policies and professional support.

A conversation before a proposal

Let’s begin with what you want your people to carry forward.

In a 30-minute conversation, Jan will learn about your audience, setting, desired outcome, timing, format, and questions about fit.

Good questions are welcome

Frequently asked questions

Is this a keynote or a workshop?

It can be a keynote, interactive workshop, or deeper customized training. The best format depends on your audience, time, and desired outcome.

Is the program only for workplaces?

No. It can serve conferences, associations, corrections, hospitality, higher education, community, and faith audiences.

Will participants have to share personal information?

No. Participants may always pass. Private reflection and provided scenarios allow people to apply the framework without telling a personal story.

Can the experience be customized?

Yes. The 6 P’s remain consistent while examples, scenarios, emphasis, and delivery are adapted to the audience and setting.

What does it cost?

Investment depends on format, duration, audience size, location, customization, materials, and follow-up. The planning conversation identifies the right scope before a proposal.

From Pause to Progress™
